Owner Manoj Badale and coach Rahul Dravid will decide if they retain Samson or let him go.
If released, Samson could be traded to another team or head into the IPL 2026 auction pool.
Samson played just nine matches in IPL 2025 due to a side strain as RR finished ninth overall.
Currently training at BCCI’s Centre of Excellence, Samson targets return in Asia Cup starting September 9.
