Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal recently responded to the divorce rumors by making a statement on his social media, after his wife Dhanashree Verma responded to the speculations. The couple had tied the knot on December 22, 2020, in a private ceremony and have been questioned amid viral rumors about their relationship. Speculation about Chahal's marriage with Dhanashree, a YouTuber and choreographer, gained much attention after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram. The chatter took a toll on both individuals, and Chahal posted a detailed note requesting the fans to avoid spreading unverified claims. He spoke without mentioning the name of Dhanashree or their relation but pointed at the pain being caused to his family by such speculative social media posts.
