Speaking to the NI, Abhishek's father said, "Yuvraj Singh has played a major role in Abhishek's success. He has worked really hard on him, and Abhishek has also put in the effort. I'm very proud of my son, his hard work is taking him forward. This game is all about performance, and those who perform, move ahead." Abhishek was one of SRH’s top performers this season, scoring 439 runs from 13 innings at an average of 33.76 and a strike rate of 193.39. Wassan's Big Claim Raj Kumar on SRH’s performance Despite individual brilliance from players like Abhishek, Sunrisers Hyderabad could not qualify for the playoffs in IPL 2025. They finished sixth on the points table with 12 points from 14 matches. However, they ended the season on a positive note with a dominant 110-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their final game. Raj Kumar expressed his disappointment with SRH's overall performance but remained hopeful for a stronger comeback next year. He added, “SRH is a very good team... but I don't know why they couldn't win more matches this year. When the IPL started, we thought they would perform well. It's okay, next year they'll come with better preparation and fix the things that lacked.” With strong individual performances and guidance from experienced mentors like Yuvraj Singh, Abhishek Sharma continues to be one of Indian cricket’s promising young talents.
