Day 5 of the Lord's Test between India and England was filled with intense pressure and absolute drama. While chasing a target of 193, the visitors lost their wickets early and were left in deep trouble. The top order shattered soon, and the middle and lower order were left to stage a comeback. Although KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja put up some fight, the wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Despite of the formidable position, Ravindra Jadeja had a partnership with Mohammed Siraj to generate some hope for India's pursuit to 193. Nevertheless, England's tight bowling and sharp captaincy from Ben Stokes came to prevail in the end as India fell short by 22 runs. During the post match presser at Lord's, Shubman Gill accepted where the team erred in the third Test: "Yesterday's 1 hour and today's 1 hour we didn't play good. The top order didn't fire. 30-40 runs more should have been scored by the top order. But this was the first time the top order failed. But the way Jaddu bhai and the lower order played, kudos to them!" He lauded Jadeja for his experience and calm presence under pressure: "One of the most experienced players in the side and the way he performed and partnered with the lower order, it was incredible." We could have saved a few boundaries. Still the target was chaseable." Watch the video here: Shubman Gill reflects on the Lord's Test loss:"Yesterday's 1 hour and today's 1 hour we didn't play good.
