India's young talent, Yashasvi Jaiswal, has reportedly missed the team bus while travelling to Brisbane. Reports are saying that the team waited for around 20 minutes until the bus left for destination. Rohit Sharma, the captain of the team, was found visibly frustrated for the delay. However, the Indian team management had arranged for a separate car as Jaiswal reached the airport being accompanied by a senior officer. Notably, the Indian team was supposed to leave the International Hotel at 8:30 am, as their flight was scheduled for 10 am. The team assembled on time, with Jaiswal missing. Virat Kohli was seen practicing more of his backfoot and is looking to leave the outside off balls. India secured a commanding 295-run victory over Australia in Perth but faced a crushing 10-wicket loss in Adelaide. As the series heads to the Gabba, the contest remains evenly poised. However, concerns linger over the batting unit's inconsistency, while the bowling attack relies heavily on Jasprit Bumrah. Despite his impressive efforts, Bumrah received little support from fellow pacers Mohammed Siraj and Harshit Rana during the Adelaide Test. India is unlikely to undergo any batting order shuffles, having Rahul and Jaiswal opening the batting for India. Despite having a good run in Perth, both struggled in the Adelaide Oval. India, who is having a 1-1 standing in the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy, will like to win the third Test at Gabba, hoping to qualify for the World Test Championship final scheduled in 2025 at the Lords.
