The Royal Challengers pacer Yash Dayal is having a serious time with the sexual assault allegations, as now, a 17 years old girl from Jaipur has lodged a similar complaint. The minor complained that Dayal took advantage of her cricket dreams and had assaulted her for two years during the ongoing 2025 Indian Premier League. The teen filed the case at the Sanganer Police Station, where she alleged that Dayal promised her to help in uplifting her professional cricket career. But later, he blackmailed her physically and emotionally for two years. Anil Jaiman, the Station house Officer, informed that the girl came across Dayal while playing cricket. As per a report from Dainik Bhaskar, Dayal promised to help her in cricket two years back, but then he raped her. The blackmail went on for 2 years, but then she got frustrated and finally lodged the complaint on Tuesday. As she is still 17, the case has been filed under the POSCO act, which means if Dayal is proved guilty, he will be handed a 10 years of imprisonmen. It might extend to life imprisonment with a fine too. Earlier in July, the Allahabad High Court granted interim relief to cricketer Yash Dayal by staying his arrest in a sexual exploitation case. The FIR, filed on July 6 at Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad, accuses Dayal of deceiving a woman into a sexual relationship over five years. The charges were framed under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which pertains to sexual intercourse by fraudulent means. The matter came up before a division bench comprising Justices Siddharth Varma and Anil Kumar, who stayed the arrest until the case is listed for the next hearing. Legal proceedings are ongoing.
