The marquee tournament will go on for nearly a month from early February to March. As per reports, it might take place between February 6 and March 9, 2025. The dates are to be confirmed. Additionally, similar to the last two seasons, WPL 2025 will also witness 22 matches. The BCCI had also planned to introduce a new team in the new season of the WPL, but that idea has been shelved. Moreover, the board is yet to finalize the venues for the tournament. As per reports, the MCA (Mumbai Cricket Association) has not been approached to host matches. Moreover, a KSCA official also confirmed that Bengaluru is not being considered as well.
