The Indian pacer has been visibly frustrated by the service of Air India flight, calling out the lack of communication during the flight delay. The Indian team was supposed to leave Guwahati on November 26 and board the Air India Express flight (IX 2884) from the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati to his hometown Hyderabad. However, according to Siraj's complaint, the flight was delayed by four hours; that irked the pacer. On his X account, he wrote that there was no communication from the airline company despite repeated follow-ups. On his X account, he wrote, "Air India flight No. IX 2884 from Guwahati to Hyderabad was supposed to depart at 7:25pm, yet there has been no communication from the airline. Even after repeated follow-ups, they’ve only delayed the flight without giving any proper reason. It’s extremely frustrating, and this is the basic expectation of any passenger. A four-hour delay with no update has left us stranded. Worst airline experience. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to take this flight if the airline cannot take responsibility." The post further informed that the Guwahati-Hyderabad flight was cancelled due to "unforeseen operational issues." It further assured assistance to the boarders and replied, "We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused, Mr Siraj. We regret to inform you that the flight has been cancelled due to unforeseen operational reasons. Our team at the airport is actively assisting all guests with the necessary arrangements. We understand how difficult this situation is, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Please be assured that our team will continue to keep you updated and extend all possible support." Notably, Siraj's complaint came after India was whitewashed by South Africa, having a 400+ run defeat in Guwahati. It also marked India as the only team to get whitewashed in a Test series in a calendar year.
