In a now-viral video, Sharma was seen interacting with children when one of them asked, “Sir, aapko out kaise karne ka?” (Sir, how to get you out?). Rohit smiled and replied, “Wo nahi ho sakta.” (That’s not possible.) The video has been widely shared across platforms, with fans appreciating Rohit's candid and humorous response. The interaction comes at a time when the Indian batter has regained form with the bat in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. He has scored 410 runs from 14 innings at an average of 31.53 and a strike rate of 150.18. His season includes four half-centuries. He struggled in the first half of the season but bounced back with a match-winning 76* (45) against CSK in the reverse fixture. Most recently, he played a pivotal role in MI’s Eliminator match against Gujarat Titans, scoring 81 off just 50 balls. His innings included nine fours and four sixes. With his knock, Rohit also became the second player after Chris Gayle to hit 300 sixes in IPL history. MI posted 228/5 in that match and went on to defeat GT by 20 runs, restricting them to 208/6 in their 20 overs. Mumbai Indians will now face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Qualifier 2 on Sunday, June 1, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
