Jasprit Bumrah has been a pretty sensitive issue for the Indian management due to stress issues. The premium fast bowler's workload is a big headache to the Indian team management; however, he is unlikely to get any rest for the upcoming Test series against the West Indies. Currently Bumrah is playing in the 2025 Asia Cup. Barring the group stage match against Oman, he played all the matches, and will be playing the remainder of the matches for sure. In such a scenario, whether he will be available for the home Test series, was a big question. However, India's assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate has confirmed that Bumrah will be available. India will be facing Bangladesh tomorrow in their second match in the Super Four. Before the match, Doeschate addressed the press and stated that Bumrah is "unlikely" to be omitted. Doeschate said, "It’s unlikely that Bumrah will be rested. He’s set to play the West Indies Tests. We’ve got important matches coming up, and it’s good for him to keep playing and get more match time." India will be playing the two-match Test series against the West Indies right after coming from Dubai. The first Test will be starting on October 2nd at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. The second one has been scheduled with a four-day-gap, on October 10, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. The last week has been tough, but the way the boys played in those two games was amazing. Abu Dhabi wasn’t ideal — it took us longer to travel and recover. Shubman also didn’t get the preparation he wanted, he was keen on getting some practice in.” He added, “We tried giving everyone a chance against Oman. In bilateral series you can test bench strength, but in the Asia Cup it’s more difficult."
