Rajasthan Royals (RR) will don an all-pink jersey when they play their crucial match against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Thursday, May 1, at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium. This is a different jersey from their traditional pink and blue shirt. The team is pulling off this move to commemorate their annual 'Pink Promise' day. The Royals’ Pink Promise is to continue supporting women-led transformation in Rajasthan. Last year, the ‘Pink Promise’ campaign, along with support from partners like Luminous, illuminated thousands of lives by bringing light to over 250 homes." To support this cause, RR will donate ₹100 from each ticket sale for the match. They will also donate all the proceeds of the sale of the special pink jerseys to the Royal Rajasthan Foundation (RRF), which focuses on such social causes. That's not all - Rajasthan Royals and Royal Rajasthan Foundation (RRF), for each six hit in the match by anyone, will assist in illuminating six houses in the Sambhar region through solar energy. This is the second consecutive year the Royals are marking Pink Promise Day by playing in the all-pink kit. They did so last year too in a match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), which they won with the assistance of a century by Jos Buttler.
