Where to Watch NPL 2025 Live in Nepal and India The free-to-air rights are with Kantipur Max TV, which will broadcast every match in Nepal during the 2025 season. In the case of mobile users, the live stream on the Dish Home Go app will be available to keep audiences updated on the games while away from home. In India, the tournament will be broadcast on Star Sports Select 2 (SD and HD). For the first time, the NPL matches will be broadcast live by an Indian television network, furthering the league's reach across South Asia. Indian fans can also live stream the matches on the FanCode app, which will provide full digital coverage of the tournament. Unlike the previous seasons, this time the fans will need to download the official mobile app to watch matches and also pay for it. It will be applicable to both Nepali and international viewers. As confirmed by officials of CAN, this move is part of a new plan meant to increase revenue and make the league more professional. CAN, by moving to a subscription model and making further extensions of TV broadcast deals, hopes to grow the league's value and attract stronger commercial partners in the coming years. NPL Expands Reach With Star Sports Partnership CAN has also awarded broadcasting rights to Star Television India, marking the first time NPL matches are being televised on any Indian sports channel. The decision was communicated to all firms that participated in the tender for broadcast rights. Though CAN had originally intended to assign exclusive domestic rights to one Nepali channel, the organization rescinded exclusivity for the assignment to allow Star TV to simultaneously broadcast the matches. A formal public announcement from CAN will follow shortly, but the new structure has already been shared with all stakeholders by email. The paid streaming model and wider TV coverage are indicative of the new stage that the NPL has begun. With overseas stars joining in, not to mention bigger broadcasters, it signals a long-term growth of the league. This means that fans in the coming days will have to watch the matches through the official app or through TV channels, as free streams will no longer be available.
