The India vs. England Test Series has been a drama-packed one, with the fast bowler Akash Deep getting himself in one of those with the England opening batter Ben Duckett. Akash Deep was seen putting an arm around Duckett after he got the latter out in the second innings at The Lords. Apparently it looked friendly between the two, but it didn't go well for many commentators, including the former Aussie captain Rickey ponting. But what exactly happened between the two? Akash explained that Duckett challenged him and said Akash can't get him out. Duckett was desperately hitting ram shorts, sweeping the balls, and making Akash clueless with his line and length. Unfortunately, Duckett had to leave after attempting a sweep only. Recalling the incident, the Bengal-based bowler said RevSports, "I have a good record against Duckett and have got him out a few times. I have always fancied my chances against the left-handers, and he is no different. On that day, he was trying to throw me off my line and length and had played a number of unconventional shots. That’s when he said to me that it was his day and I will not be able to get him out." That’s what was happening. Also, England were off to a quick start and we needed a wicket. We were defending a modest score and wickets were critical. When I got him out (smiles), I said to him: ‘You miss, I hit. Not always will you win. This time, I win’. It was a continuation of what he was saying to me, and it was all done in good spirit." India won the match at Oval by the thinnest margin of 6 runs, thereby drawing the series. Akash, who scored a crucial half-century in the second innings for India, ended the series with 13 wickets from six innings he played.
