Sanjay Manjrekar recently commented on why star Indian cricketers Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah are missing from the Duleep Trophy 2024. Manjrekar pointed out on social media that India has played 249 international matches in the past five years. However, Rohit, Kohli, and Bumrah have only played 59%, 61%, and 34% of those games, respectively. He suggested that, given their extra rest compared to other players, these stars should have been included in the Duleep Trophy for some crucial match practice. Manjrekar tweeted, "India has played 249 international matches in the last 5 years. Rohit has played only 59% of those. Virat 61 % & Bumrah 34%. I see them as well rested India players. Could have been selected for the Duleep trophy," India has played 249 international matches in the last 5 years. Rohit has played only 59% of those. Virat 61 % & Bumrah 34%.
