Indian journalist Vikrant Gupta who visited Pakistan for Champions Trophy after 19 years had a cordial conversation with former cricketers Mohammad Amir and Ahmed Shehzad during his trip to Pakistan. A viral video of their conversation has emerged, in which they discussed Pakistan's poor show in the Champions Trophy 2025. One of the video clips from their conversation is gaining momentum on social media, with them making a joke about Rizwan's popular catchphrase, "ya toh win hai ya learn hai" (either we win or learn). Rizwan is known for repeating this phrase whenever he is discussing his team's performance post-match interviews. Vikrant Gupta got into the spirit and remarked that although Pakistan had lost, they would learn from it and do better. Amir and Shehzad burst out laughing at his remark, adding to the amusement of the situation. They had a chance to end their campaign on a high note by defeating Bangladesh in their last match, but due to consistent rain at Rawalpindi, the match was called off by the officials and hence, both Bangladesh and Pakistan were given one point each. Pakistan was hosting an ICC tournament after 29 long years and such kind of dismal campaign in front of their home crowd has disappointed the fans.
