On July 24, in the World Championship of Legends (WCL) match between England Champions and South Africa Champions, SA's Wayne Parnell did the famous "aura farming" move while celebrating Ravi Bopara's wicket. Parnell angled the ball outside the off stump, which Bopara tried to hit but got caught in the deep cover as Jacques Rudolph took an easy catch. Following that, Parnell stood and, with a sly smile, did the move as a means of celebration. Recently, a video went viral where a young Indonesian boy was seen casually doing zig-zag hand movements while standing in front of a boat. The boy in his element, went famous and the social media started tagging it as "aura farming." Parnell was seen copying that move after dismissing Bopara. Chasing 153, the Proteas romped home in just 12.2 overs, with Hashim Amla (29* off 25) playing the perfect supporting role. Earlier, England posted 152/6, riding on Phil Mustard’s 39 and cameos from Samit Patel (24) and Eoin Morgan (20). Imran Tahir starred with the ball, grabbing 2/17 in his 4 overs, while Wayne Parnell chipped in with 2/36. But the day belonged to AB. The South African skipper smacked 15 fours and 7 sixes, making a mockery of England’s bowling, as none of their six bowlers managed a breakthrough. With this dominant win, the South Africa Champions collected two points and a big boost to their net run rate.
