Tamil Nadu and Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder Washington Sundar made a dream Test return. Playing the first match in more than three years, he was a shining star with the ball as he picked up career-best figures of 7/59 in the first innings. His five-wicket haul came for the first time in a Test. He added four more wickets in the second innings to complete his first 10-wicket haul in a Test match. Some of the notable dismissals Sundar made were of the in-form New Zealand batter Rachin Ravindra, who notched a century in the first Test in Bengaluru and a half-century in the first innings in Pune. Ravindra got bowled twice by Sundar in the match-the second one going viral as he misjudged a straighter delivery.
