Virat Kohli was run out off the third ball of the 19th over when a misjudged quick single came back to haunt India. A very rash run left Kohli in a tough spot as Matt Henry, arguably one of the safest fielders in the game, threw the ball straight back at the stumps, leaving the Mumbai crowd stunned. The run was never on, but Kohli took the chance, only to be left short of the crease. His attempt handed New Zealand an edge as the day came to a close, putting India on the back foot in a challenging situation.
