Virat Kohli might not be playing Test cricket anymore, but he still wins hearts off the field. This time not with a bat but through his sweet humble gesture at a public event. The former India captain was seen recently in London for a charity dinner organized by his good friend and former colleague Yuvraj Singh. The dinner benefited Yuvraj's YouWeCan Foundation and saw many cricket greats gather at one place. Some of the legendary names seen there included Sachin Tendulkar, Chris Gayle, Kevin Pietersen, Brian Lara, and Ravi Shastri. India's new coach Gautam Gambhir and some other existing and past cricketers were seen at the glitzy evening too. A clip from the event has gone viral, where Kohli is seen sitting next to Kevin Pietersen. When someone gave him a wave from afar, Kohli waved back with a wide smile on his face. Fans dubbed the scene "adorable" and "pure Pookie behavior," a playful Gen Z term used to refer to someone extremely cute or lovable. But there was more. When questioned about his wife Anushka Sharma and their kids, daughter Vamika and baby boy Akkay, Kohli remained silent. Rather, he used a peaceful hand movement to indicate they were at home and sleeping. It was a gentle, deferential moment that made fans emotional.
