In a recently posted video by BCCI, Indian star cricketer Virat Kohli shared his favourite Test hundred that he scored in Australia. Out of his 29 Test centuries, Kohli mentioned that six came in Australia, and he was asked to choose the best one. While Kohli had often admired his twin hundreds at Adelaide on his captaincy debut in 2014, this time he picked a different favorite. However, in the headshot session of team India, Mohammed Siraj asked Virat Kohli to opt for his best knock in Australia and also name the venue at which it came in. Kohli named his 123-run knock at Perth in 2018 as his top Test century in Australia. This was a very testing innings, played in the context of the second Test of the 2018-19 series as Kohli crossed some very difficult wickets while tackling the trying pitch of the ground. He was the lone centurion in the match. In a video shared by BCCI, Kohli said: "My best knock in Australia is definitely my hundred at Perth during the 2018-19 series. I thought that's the toughest pitch I've played on in Test cricket. It was great to score a hundred there." So far, he has managed to score six centuries and four fifties in the country. Kohli took this as a ground for his good performance in the 2014-15 series where he scored 692 runs across four matches with four hundreds and a fifty. Kohli equals the record of his idol Sachin Tendulkar for the most Test centuries scored by an Indian in Australia and will look to extend this record in the five-match series starting November 22 in Perth. India is scheduled to play the first Test from November 22 and captain Rohit Sharma is likely to miss it, with Jasprit Bumrah likely to lead the team.
