Devdutt Paddikal was the other man who went to the optional practice sessions. Kohli played his drives but left some good-length deliveries. Whenever he mishit a shot, he engaged in detailed discussions with the throwdown specialist or bowler. While he looked good in the nets, the challenge now is to translate those shots into performance on the field.
