History was created at the Narendra Modi Stadium when Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won their inaugural IPL title. Having waited 18 years long, RCB eventually got crowned by defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 6 runs in the IPL 2025 final. It was an extremely emotional situation, particularly for Virat Kohli, who played his heart out for RCB for 18 long years. Kohli was seen having tears in his eyes as the team approached towards the victory. Kohli contributed 43 runs from 35 balls with the help of 3 fours in the match. Prior to this last match, Kohli had played in three other IPL finals. Kohli had made 96 runs in those matches with an average of 32 and a strike rate of 128.
