All eyes will be on Rohit Sharma's team's performance against Bangladesh, particularly when Bangladesh is riding high on confidence after beating Pakistan 2-0 in a Test series. Virat Kohli, after helping India win their second T20 World Cup, will be pretty keen on playing this Test series. Both Virat Kohli and Rohit later went on to declare their retirements from T20 cricket after winning the T20 World Cup, so as to play only the 50 over and Test formats. And now they are ready, looking forward to giving their best in this Test series. India tops the WTC standings and would like to preserve their winning momentum. The team is targeting a third successive WTC final appearance, and this series against Bangladesh becomes quite crucial in that context. India is already well-placed but would not want to slow down. The two Tests are going to be played in Chennai and Kanpur on September 19 and 27, respectively. After that, both India and Bangladesh will clash in a three-match T20I series.
