Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli shared a positive health update, alongside giving advice to the young people from the hospital bed. He was also seen singing the motivational song ‘We Are the Champions', reaffirming his deep love for sport from the bed. Kambli (52), has been admitted at the Akruti Hospital in the Kalher area of Bhiwandi town on Saturday. He was found primarily suffering from urinary infection and cramps. However, according to a report from PTI, it was discovered that he has clots in his brain. Doctor Vivek Trivedi is doing the necessary treatments and is constantly monitoring having medical examinations scheduled for Tuesday, December 24. From the hospital bed, he expressed his love for Sachin Tendulkar and respect for their childhood coach, Ramakant Achrekar. Both went to attend an event honouring their childhood coach, Ramakant Achrekar. Akmbli was seen frail and was visibly suffering from poor health. The 1983 World Cup players Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev had extended support to him. In an interview, Gavaskar was heard saying, "The 1983 team is very conscious of the younger players. For me, they are like grandsons. If you see their age, some are like sons. We are all very concerned, particularly when fortunes desert them. I don't like the word help. What the 83 team wants to do is take care of him. We want to take care of Vinod Kambli and help him get back on his feet."
