KL Rahul has redefined aura with his performance against RCB in Match 24 of IPL 2025 playing at his home ground for Delhi Capitals. Walking in to bat in a tricky situation at 10/2 in the third over in a run chase of 163, KL Rahul showed signs of what he was going to do pretty early on as he creamed an elegant cover drive off Bhuvneshwar Kumar on just his second ball. Next, he spotted a slower ball from Dayal in the next over and lofted it over mid-off to show his intent early. He then buckled down as he lost his batting partner Abhishek Porel on a low score and then was joined by his skipper Axar Patel as the DC run chase had sunk further. Just as the DC skipper was starting to find boundaries, he was he was dismissed by Suyash Sharma in the 9th over and the scorecard read 58/4 with DC needing 105 off 68 balls and the entire Chinnaswamy crowd against them. The onus was now even more on KL Rahul who was on his home turf, against his ex-franchise wanting to make a statement. He started building a partnership with Tristan Stubbs and then cut loose against the spin of Krunal Pandya and Liam Livingstone. The match was getting tight and the nerves were jangling as rain drops started to fall at Chinnaswamy and DC were 8 runs behind par at the 14 over mark.
