You think you've seen it all in cricket? I bet you haven't. Ishan Kishan's dismissal against MI in Match 41 of IPL 2025 will leave you scratching your head and wondering what even happened there. During the third over of SRH's innings, Ishan Kishan got a delivery down the leg side from Deepak Chahar which he completely missed and it seemed like it would be called a wide ball. But, to everyone's surprise Ishan Kishan started to walk off without even an appeal from any of the MI fielders. Only skipper Hardik Pandya at mid-off was remotely interested in an appeal and Ishan Kishan was quick to walk off being certain that he had nicked it and seeing that the umpire who was initially giving it a wide hastily raised his finger too. Pandya was then seeing tapping Kishan's helmet as a gesture of appreciation as the batter made his way back to the dressing room. Even the on-air commentators thought that Kishan was showing sportsmanship by walking off after nicking the ball down the leg side but when the replays rolled up, it left everyone befuddled as there was no spike on UltraEdge which confirmed that Kishan had not got any bat on it. However, Kishan walking off almost immediately without even an appeal raised many eyebrows. Only Ishan Kishan would be able to confirm whether he felt bat on ball but one thing is for sure that this is going to be a talking point for a while now.
