Indian pacer Umran Malik demonstrated hints at getting back to his best as part of the current Buchi Babu Trophy, offering hope to fans who were looking forward to a powerful pace attack. Famous for his sheer pace and aggressive bowling, Malik made the mark while playing for Jammu and Kashmir against Odisha, claiming two decisive wickets. Malik, who had been out of cricket for nearly a year because of injuries and lacked consistency in his action as well as accuracy, seemed sharper in this game. The fans loved him hitting the middle stump and providing accurate bowling. In one of the videos posted on social media, Malik sent two batters back in no time. In his first over, he chopped one back on into the stumps, claiming a slightly lucky wicket. But in his second over, he didn't err, delivering a quick ball through the bat-pad defense of the batter.
