India's star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal made headlines at IPL 2025 auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Sunday, November 24. Punjab Kings (PBKS) bought the veteran for ₹18 crore after a fierce six-way bidding battle between CSK, GT, LSG, RCB, SRH and PBKS. Chahal was released go by Rajasthan Royals (RR) before the auction, and he was expected to draw a high price due to his incredible record of 205 wickets in IPL, the highest in the history of the league.
