In the studio, Star Sports presenter Jatin Sapru humorously remarked, “Who is going to stop Sunny ji today?” Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, who was also present, added that nobody should stop him. “It’s so much fun watching him dance. Gavaskar paaji is a living legend, the most respected cricketer. Many of us started playing cricket because of him, and it’s wonderful to see him reliving his old days,” Harbhajan said. Batting first, New Zealand posted 251/7 in their 50 overs. Rachin Ravindra and Will Young provided a solid start, but Indian spinners turned the game around by running through the New Zealand top order. Daryl Mitchell and Michael Bracewell stood firm in the middle, both scoring half-centuries to help New Zealand cross the 250-run mark.
