The second Pakistan-South Africa Test at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium has already provided some edge-of-the-seat moments, but none more breathtaking than Simon Harmer's magical ball to Imam-ul-Haq. In a scene that left the fans and pundits stunned, Harmer flighted a lovely ball that pitched around middle and leg only to spin sharply and clatter into off stump. Imam was utterly misled by the flight and turn, as the ball floated in before sharply deviating to rattle the timber. It was a textbook case of classic off-spin bowling luring the batter into a false shot with flight and gentle movement. The Rawalpindi crowd went wild as Harham celebrated a wicket that will undoubtedly be recalled as one of the match's highlights. This was the moment which fully justified the art of spin bowling at its best in a closely contested Test match. RR Skipper Drops Major Hint Day 1 Ends in Balance at Rawalpindi Test Day 1 of the second Test between South Africa and Pakistan at Rawalpindi ended on a thrilling note with both sides enjoying their moments. Pakistan began the day in good fashion, taking control of the first session with authoritative batting. South Africa then countered well in the subsequent two sessions, keeping matters level. Simon Harmer gave the initial breakthrough by bowling out Imam-ul-Haq, but Abdullah Shafique and Shan Masood stabilized the innings with a strong second-wicket partnership. After Shafique's dismissal, South Africa ensured no other batsman could get settled for long. Shan, in superb touch, missed another century as the spinners bowled nicely all day. Though there were some squandered opportunities on the field, South Africa remained tight, not allowing Pakistan to get away with the game. When stumps were called, the Test was still nicely poised and hinted at more drama on Day 2.
