After the second qualifier ended, the Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer was seen hurling at Shashank Singh. An otherwise calm Shreyas, who did not even celebrate after hitting the winning runs, got angry the moment he met Shashank. It was a "just don't talk to me" attitude from Shreyas. And Shashank probably knows the reason. Watch the video here: "Shreyas Iyer is right in what he said to Shashank - such lazy running between the wickets could have cost PBKS the match." pic.twitter.com/CiWvCyj6Mg — Kevin (कैवीन) 𝕏 (@kevinshah1307) June 2, 2025 During the match, Shashank underwent a nasty run-out. He drove a low full toss towards mid on, and tried to change the strike. Hardik Pandya, the skipper of Mumbai, picked up the ball, and threw it, targeting his stumps. Shashank was too casual to reach the crease. To the naked eye, it might look like he entered safely, but in reality, he didn't. Even though that did not hamper Punjab's win, it seemed to have pissed Shreyas off a bit. When Shashank left, it was the 17th over going on, when at least 35 runs were left to chase.
