Domestic T20 tournament began from March 7 and ends on March 18, 2026, where eight regional sides participate in the championship. Every team is due to play a number of games and the top four in the points table advance to the knockout stages. Karachi decided to bat first and set a monumental 201 on the board. In reply, Sialkot was hopeful initially with its run chase, but the whole thing went into flames and they were bowled out for just 161 runs. A lot was expected from opening batters, Abdullah Shafique and Mirza Baig. However, they failed to score much and were sent back to the pavilion early which put pressure on Sialkot. Shafique smashed 28 off 15 balls while Mirza managed a poor 3 off 8. Abdullah Shafique has played for Pakistan since 2020 but has not been consistent in the side recently, he played his last game for Pakistan back in October 2025 against South Africa. The 26-year-old, however, will be hoping that he makes a mark in the ongoing domestic campaign and makes his way back into the Pakistan squad in the coming months.
