There has been ample number of reality and comedy programs in different parts of the world with exclusive elements used to retain the viewers' attention. With the advancement of time, they began shifting onto different social media platforms, and we have been viewing even cricket stars appearing in quizzes and other comic programs. However, the Australian cricket team took it to an altogether new level recently. Two hosts, Fletch and Hindy, put the team into a lie detector challenge. Of course, the show had some intense rules with a twist. For the unfamiliar few, Pat Cummins along with his teammates appeared in the 'Fletch and Hindy' Show in Australia. The rule was simple-tell the truth, and a blue buzzer would light up, a wrong answer, and it would send an electric shock to the player. This put stars like Pat Cummins, Travis Head, Marnus Labuschagne, Usman Khawaja, and Mitchell Marsh in the hot seat. The type of questions and the decisions by the hosts twisted it to make the lie-detecting process quite amusing. The test was to uncover the most controversial and hidden details of the players' lives. First to take the test was ODI World Cup hero Travis Head. The hosts astutely honed in on how Head chose to celebrate the final victory against India. Fletch asked: “Travis, do you like to party? Do you, do you like to party?” Head replied: "Yes" Fletch further asked: “Did you drink more than five beers after the World Cup win? More than 10? More than 25?” In a funny moment, host Fletch brought the house down when he slammed down on the electric shock button even before the volatile batter could say "no." Unlike his regular role as an opener for Australia, Usman Khawaja opted not to open in the lie detector test. Khawaja was asked what was wrong with his teammate, Marnus Labuschagne. Khwaja gave a witty reponse: “I think he got dropped on his head a few too many times as a kid." Fortunately for Khawaja, his response saved him from an electric shock. However, in the next moment, he was cornered by the host with a question about David Warner's retirement. The question was whether the team's environment was better than when Warner was there or was better currently. What happened after this? Well, Khawaja got a surprise electric shock-for lying. He said it felt as if he had just been thumped on the head. Khawaja said: “No. Ow, did someone just smack me in the back, what the hell was that? I felt like someone just hit me in the back of the head.” Fletch (host) said: “You’ve just got to say yes or no, so obviously you were lying.” Watch the video here: Next on the hot seat was Australian captain Pat Cummins. First, he was asked to confirm his name. The first question he fielded related to his views about 'Bazball.' "It is," replied a candid Cummins, not beating around the bush, just like his host had been frank in using the word 'bulls**t.' Josh Hazlewood was asked if his name was Joshua and if there was a middle name. When Marnus Labuschagne finally came, one indeed asked how to correctly pronounce his surname. And he did explain that the 'Ch' in his surname should be pronounced, ruling out the use of the common 'Labu-shane' pronunciation by cricket commentators. Further, there were some hidden details about Glenn Maxwell. Labuschagne was asked about the infamous golf incident involving Maxwell. He confirmed that Maxwell indeed fell off the cart, but his answer triggered electric shocks. Mitchell Marsh was asked about Maxwell's trip to Turkey, to which he revealed that Maxwell had gone to Turkey to get a set of new teeth. Also Read | Who Has Bangladesh Beaten in Test Cricket?
