Yuvraj Singh had some light fun on social media when he received a gift from Rishabh Pant. Former India all-rounder took to social media to post a video which also involved a fun tease to several of the young India stars and went viral instantly. Pant recently gifted Yuvraj a golf club and a letter to thank him for the support and guidance he had offered. Pant had approached Yuvraj during one of his difficult times which included a terrible IPL season last year and also not being part of India’s T20 World Cup squad. Yuvraj has been mentoring Pant and helping him to improve his mindset and confidence. “Dear Yuvi paaji, thank you for your support and guidance. See you on the golf course. Love RP,” wrote Pant in the letter. Yuvraj’s Playful Dig Goes Viral Having developed a liking for golf after retiring from professional cricket, Yuvraj posted a video of the gift and used the occasion to tease some of the other young India stars whom he mentors. Yuvraj took a dig at Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Prabhsimran Singh, Naman Dhir, Abdul Samad and Priyansh Arya. “Sharam karo... Rishabh Pant se kuch seekho (Have some shame... Pant’s Tough IPL 2026 Continues Despite the off-field fun that brought a smile to everyone’s face, Pant’s actual IPL 2026 has been quite poor. He has registered only 204 runs from 9 innings at an average of 25.50 and a strike rate of 128.30 and has hit only one half-century. The dashing stroke-player’s starts in IPL 2026 have simply failed to convert into a big innings and his team’s plight mirrors that. They have only two victories from nine games and are languishing at the bottom of the table. With the playoff hunt heating up, the Delhi Capitals wicket-keeper-batsman will be keen to find some form in the rest of the games.
