Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, was booed when he arrived at a London hotel with the Pakistan cricket team to meet King Charles III. A video taken outside the venue has also surfaced on social media. The video shows protesters chanting "Shame on you" outside the venue as Naqvi and the Pakistan team arrived for their scheduled audience with the UK monarch. Naqvi seemed to disregard the chants and continued walking with the Pakistan contingent to the venue. The Pakistan players went ahead for the scheduled appointment. The video was posted on X and was quick to draw attention due to the fact that it was a high-profile visit. The video itself does not quite show why the protesters were after Naqvi or whether the slogans had a specific issue linked to Pakistan cricket. The latest incident occurred at a crucial public appearance by the Pakistan team, which has recently arrived in England to contest a three-match Test series. Even with the chants from the crowd outside the venue, Naqvi and the Pakistan players continued with the meeting with King Charles III. The engagement was among some of the activities the team undertook while in the United Kingdom. Pakistan are meanwhile busy preparing for the final Test of their series against England.
