The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025 provided yet another nail-biting moment when Guyana Amazon Warriors bowler Shamar Joseph bowled a masterpiece delivery to get rid of Rassie van der Dussen. The stump-shattering wicket immediately turned out to be one of the biggest moments of the tournament and got the fans out of their seats. Shamar Joseph's Dream Delivery The moment took place on the first ball of the sixth over when Barbados Royals were starting their pursuit of 190. Joseph came in with full intensity and delivered a toe-crushing ball which swung late. Van der Dussen, who was supposed to steady the Royals' innings, badly judged the line. Playing across, he was beaten by speed as the ball thudded into the leg stump and cartwheeled. The jam-packed stadium erupted, while Joseph began a raucous celebration with his signature pumping fists. The loss was significant, since Van der Dussen has usually been a reliable presence within the batting lineup of Barbados. His early dismissal placed the Royals in an immediate spot of pressure. Quentin Sampson provided a good support with an important 50 from 36 deliveries, forming a strong partnership that helped set a strong foundation. Despite Royals' bowlers tightening things in the death overs, Warriors were still able to post a commanding total. Royals' Chase Struggle Chasing 190, the Barbados Royals didn't get off to a good start. Joseph's aggressive delivery to send back Van der Dussen shook their confidence, and wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Sherfane Rutherford's gritty 27 (32) was the only show of resistance, but the run rate required continued to rise. A late cameo by Kofi James, who hit 26 off 13 balls, provided fleeting hope for Royals supporters, but Guyana's bowlers maintained constant pressure, securing a easy victory. For Guyana, Gudakesh Motie was the star with the ball as the spinner claimed a fifer for 21 runs.
