Sam Konstas, the 19-year-old rising star, was brought into the Australia A side against India A following his successive centuries in the Sheffield Shield. But he didn't have a very good day on the field in his first outing of this series. On the first day of the unofficial test match, Mukesh Kumar of India A had Konstas returning to the pavilion on a three-ball duck. Mukesh bowled a ball of perfect length which tempted Konstas to drive; the ball swung away a bit, and it took away the edge of Konstas's bat and landed into the gloves of Ishan Kishan who is keeping the wickets for India A.
