India C skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad grabbed all the attention with a stunning one-handed catch during the Duleep Trophy match on Saturday, September 21. The catch came in the second innings of India A when Riyan Parag, who was batting well, stepped down the track and hit the ball towards the cover region off pacer Gaurav Yadav. With Parag's shot going somewhat straighter than he would have liked, this brought the classy Gaikwad an opportunity to pull off a Superman dive at extra cover, where he successfully sent the second most important batsman in threat, Parag, back in the pavilion. The catch quickly became viral on social media as fans appreciated the committed and athletic Gaikwad. Watch the video: One-handed STUNNER! 🔥Ruturaj Gaikwad is on fire on the field.
