West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd scripted history with a brilliant spell in the 3rd T20I against Bangladesh at Chattogram. His effort led his side to a five-wicket win and a 3-0 whitewash in the series. It was Bangladesh who were cruising at 107/2 with opener Tanzid Hasan anchoring the innings, until Shepherd turned things around for them with some fiery bowling in the death overs. His sharp pace and accurate yorkers left the hosts in complete disarray. Shepherd's hat-trick was recorded from the 17th over, when he got rid of Nurul Hasan for just one run. Returning to bowl the final over, he struck twice back-to-back - first getting rid of Tanzid Hasan (89 off 62), who mistimed a shot to the deep, and then bowling Shoriful Islam (0) with a perfect yorker. He finished with figures of 3/36, as Bangladesh were bowled out for 151, falling short of what once looked like a 170-plus total. Also Read | Hardik Pandya’s Comeback Date Revealed!
