Rohit Sharma's bad time at the crease continued as he could only muster just 3 runs when his team Mumbai played against Jammu and Kashmir in Ranji Trophy on Thursday. Rohit had been in a poor form since his all-so-poor Test series performance against Australia. During that series, he could only score 31 runs in 3 matches. Getting so much criticism from fans and experts, Rohit decided not to play the final Test match in Sydney. It was his first outing for domestic cricket since 2015, but Rohit failed to get back to form as the innings came to a quick end. He fell to Jammu and Kashmir's Umar Nazir Mir. Rohit was bowled over by a short-pitched delivery when he completely miscued it to fielder Yudhvir Singh, who easily took the catch. The dismissal reminded fans of how he got out in the first innings of the fourth test against Australia when Pat Cummins dismissed him in almost similar fashion. Cummins bowled a similar delivery and Rohit attempted it half-heartedly to get a top-edge which send the ball straight up in the air which was caught by Boland.
