India ODI skipper Rohit Sharma, who has been away from cricket since the conclusion of IPL 2025, is gearing up for a comeback. In the lead-up to the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia in October, Rohit was seen visiting a Lord Ganesh temple in Mumbai to garner blessings. As soon as fans saw him inside the temple, they began chanting his name loudly, calling him “Mumbai cha raja, Rohit Sharma (Mumbai’s King Rohit Sharma).” Rohit, however, quickly urged them to stop the chants, asking for silence and respect in front of the deity.
