In the ongoing ODI series, a heated moment unfolded between Pakistan's skipper Mohammad Rizwan and Heinrich Klaasen during the 26th over of the South African inning. It started on the final ball of Haris Rauf's over as he said something to Klaasen, apparently, which frustrated the South African batter. The umpires quickly intervened and cautioned the players to focus on the game. But Rizwan then gets involved and starts a lively discussion with Klaasen, pointing his finger at him, too. Klaasen too did not back down, but Babar Azam quickly rushed over to try and cool down the argument. Haris Rauf too appeared to walk towards the pair, but Babar told him to step away. Most of the innings was led from the front by Rizwan the skipper who scored a brilliant 80 off 82 balls. His innings became the bedrock of the total for Pakistan after it suffered those early wickets. Rizwan was careful enough in his approach, hence ensuring that he was there long enough to stabilize the innings and set up a platform for others to play around him. This was an important knock, as the top order had already collapsed. Former skipper Babar Azam made 73 off 95 deliveries. His stroke play was stylish, but his innings didn't have the kind of acceleration Pakistan might have been expecting in this situation. However, the manner in which Babar rotated strike and occasionally found boundaries was critical to building a big score. However, Pakistan won the second ODI with a huge margin of 81 runs, and they won the series as well. It was a clinical performance from the Pakistan team.
