In a thrilling encounter against Chennai Super Kings at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati, Parag executed a jaw-dropping catch to send Shivam Dube back to the dugout, leaving the spectators in total awe. Shivam Dube, who had been playing some big shots already, with two sixes and a four, was also posing a threat in his brief but explosive stay. But he got no chance to make a comeback after Riyan Parag stole the show for once. Wanindu Hasaranga delivered a full and fast ball outside off and Dube went for a drive. However, with the ball not being in contact the ground, the umpires declared it as a fair catch forcing Dube to take a long walk back to the pavilion. This was the second wicket for Wanindu Hasaranga in the game. Earlier, he dismissed the CSK opener Rahul Tripathi at 23. In the third over of his spell, the Sri Lankan spin-bowling all-rounder went on to pick his third wicket.
