The Indian wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant is often known for his on-field antics and is widely loved for that. Currently, he is leading the India A side in a home series against South Africa A, at the BCCI centre of Excellence, where he almost fell on Sai Sudharsan. It was during the 46th over and Tanush Kotaian was bowling to the South African batter Jordan Hermann. Sai, who was fielding at the point, gave a great effort to dive and restrict the ball, but could not grab it. Had it grabbed, Hermann would have dismissed it.   Watching that, Rishabh, who was keeping, walked to Sai, and instead of hugging, laid himself on Sai, who was still lying on the ground recovering from the dive.   Watch the video here:   What tf he is doing 😭😭 https://t.co/xIiiWeUS0z pic.twitter.com/Wm6S72ZxX3 — ꫝ¹⁷ (@twitfrenzy_) October 30, 2025   Read also: Tanush Kotian Takes Four Wickets to Restrict South Africa A   Mhatre, Sudharsan steady India A after Kotian strikes   At lunch on Day 2 of the first unofficial Test between India A and South Africa A at the Centre of Excellence Ground, Bengaluru, the hosts reached 71/0 in 17 overs, trailing by 238 runs. Earlier, South Africa A were bowled out for 309 in 91.2 overs after resuming at 299/9.   Off-spinner Tanush Kotian was the pick of the bowlers with 4/83, well supported by Gurnoor Brar (2/45) and Manav Suthar (2/62). For the visitors, Jordan Hermann (71), Zubayr Hamza (66), and Rubin Hermann (54) were the key contributors. Despite losing early wickets, the middle order helped South Africa A post a competitive total. With 65 overs remaining in the day, India A will look to build a strong first-innings foundation in response.
