Ravi Bopara of England smashed sixes in one over and displayed his power-hitting ability at the Hong Kong Sixes on Saturday. Known for his big hits, Bopara had smashed five consecutive sixes off Robin Uthappa. Under pressure, Uthappa bowled a wide on the last delivery to delay the run tally, but Bopara was undeterred. He also struck the last ball, with another massive six towards completion to total 37 off over. With each time that the ball went beyond the boundary, the crowd had an eruption. Bopara had faced just 14 balls when he hit his half-century while getting eight sixes during that period. After playing his 53-run knock, he retired. Useful runs for England were scored by Samit Patel as he smacked 51 off 18 balls with four boundaries and five sixes. Both of them took England to a good total of 120/1 in six overs.
