An all-round 27-year-old cricketer, Ramandeep was called in the series after his promise with India 'A' in October. Ramandeep did not waste time when handed his first game for India on the third T20I against South Africa. Coming into the match in the last overs of the innings, he faced only six deliveries and still made a great comeback with 15 runs. He immediately put the first ball to the board by hitting it over the long-on boundary for a massive six. However, while taking a risky run on the second-last delivery of the innings, Ramandeep Singh fell short of the crease and was run-out by Klaasen. His self-confidence and aggressive approach shows his ability to grow at the global stage. India ended-up scoring 219 runs in their alloted over, 107 off which came from the bat of Tilak Varma. It will now be the bowlers job to defend the total and take the lead in this series.
