Prior to Punjab Kings (PBKS) match against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Qualifier 2 of IPL 2025, team's co-owner Preity Zinta went to Gujarat's Ambaji Temple to pray. The crucial game will be played at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, June 1. PBKS advanced to Qualifier 2 having lost to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Qualifier 1 at Mullanpur. RCB's victory advanced them directly into the final. In the Eliminator, MI defeated Gujarat Titans, eliminated them from the tournament, and maintained their hopes of lifting the title. Now, the winner of PBKS vs MI clash will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 final on Tuesday, June 3, again at Ahmedabad. Preity Zinta was spotted at the Ambaji Temple by 'Our Vadodara' on Instagram, who posted a video of her there. She went to the temple to offer prayers for the victory of her team before the vital match. However, they suffered a humiliating defear in Qualifier 1 against RCB, being bowled out for 101 runs in 14.1 overs. Due to their position at the top of the points table, they received a second opportunity to play in the final. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians are in fine shape at the perfect moment. Their good all-round show against Gujarat Titans in the Eliminator took them a step closer to the trophy. An equal show against PBKS can take them to another IPL final. Punjab Kings (PBKS) are chasing their first IPL title, whereas Mumbai Indians (MI) are looking for their sixth. Hence, it will be an interesting contest between both the teams in Qualifier 2 at Ahmedabad. The match is yet to begin due to rain interruption, but it is expected to commence soon. However, if the game gets washed out due to continous rain, Punjab Kings will advance into the final as they have finished higher in the points table.
