Jasprit Bumrah is spearheading India's bowling attack in the first Test against England at Headingley, Leeds. The 31-year-old fast bowler bowled with excellence and claimed 5 wickets for 83 runs in the first innings. He is now the world's No. 1 Test bowler. Earlier, before the series had started, Bumrah had mentioned that he would feature in only three out of a possible five Test matches. But now everyone wants him to play all five. Overwhelmed with his performance during the first innings, Sunil Gavaskar and Cheteshwar Pujara made a casual plea to Bumrah's wife Sanjana Ganesan. On June 22, while conversing, the two instructed Sanjana to request Bumrah to participate in all five matches of this Test series. Sanjana, who is also there on the ground covering the series, later relayed the message to Bumrah with a smile. The entire moment was captured on camera and cherished by fans. However, Bumrah did not gave any clear answer, instead, the pacer suggested to have a talk regarding the same on some other day. Here's what Sanjana said: "There's a request that's come from upstairs from Cheteshwar Pujara and Sunil Gavaskar, don't shoot the messenger. I am just telling you quote unquote, Jasprit, please play all five Tests, please, please, please." To which, the Indian acer pacer responded with: "That is a conversation we'll have on other day, Thank You!"
