In a chaotic and unintentionally hilarious moment during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025, Multan Sultans pacer Ubaid Shah ended up accidentally hitting his own teammate Usman Khan while celebrating a wicket against Lahore Qalandars on Tuesday night. The incident occurred during Lahore’s chase of 226, when Ubaid removed the dangerous Sam Billings. Ubaid, in excitement, turned around in wild celebration, swinging his arm out for a high-five. Unfortunately, he landed the punch on Usman Khan, who was right behind him. Ubaid's open palm struck the wicketkeeper, who wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time. Usman looked visibly shaken for a brief moment, holding his head in discomfort. Medical staff rushed in quickly to assess the situation, but thankfully, Usman gave a reassuring thumbs-up and continued to stay on the field. The moment was caught on camera and soon exploded across social media platforms. Sam Billings struck 43 off 23 balls and Sikandar Raza remained unbeaten on a 27-ball 50, but the asking rate proved too steep as they ended at 195/9. Despite the win, Multan still sits low on the points table and will next face Islamabad United on April 23.
