India’s grooming all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy displayed brilliant athleticism in the recently concluded second unofficial Test against the England Lions at County Ground, Northampton. In the final session of Day 4, the England Lions openers came out to bat for the last few overs of the game. Although the match wasn’t heading toward a result, Team India didn’t make it easy for the English batters. The moment of brilliance from Nitish Reddy came on the fourth ball of the seventh over when Tushar Deshpande bowled a seaming delivery to opener Tom Haines. Haines, aiming for a boundary, guided the ball toward the slips but was unfortunate to find Reddy there. The ball was racing toward the boundary, but Nitish Kumar Reddy had other plans. The all-rounder dived to his left and caught the ball mid-air, showing off his lightning reflexes and athleticism.
